Prof. Qureshi made a presentation on the Challenges of Postpartum Haemorrhage in Africa at the International Conference on Maternal and Newborn Health Research in India.
The conference was organized to commemorate the Centenary of the KLE Society, which brought together leading experts from around the world to debate priority research areas besides providing evidence from a number of completed and ongoing research projects focused on reducing maternal and newborn mortality/morbidity from Postpartum Hemorrhage, Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy, Birth Asphyxia and Preterm Birth.

It also provided an opportunity to review the regulatory environment pertaining to the conduct of clinical research. The conference included researchers from India, USA, UK, Switzerland, Thailand, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Egypt and South Africa.
