The University in collaboration with the Kenya Defence Forces, will observe Mazingira Day on Thursday, October 10, 2024 ย at the Wangari Maathai Institute. A tree planting exercise has been planned for the day .This newly established public holiday aims to promote environmental conservation and raise awareness about the pressing challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.
