	PROF. JAMES NJOGU KIARIE	ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Brief Description He was an Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology - University of Nairobi. Prof. James Kiarie, MBChB, MMED, MPH, trained in medicine and surgery with a specialization in obstetrics and gynecology and public health. He is currently the head of the Contraception and Fertility Care Unit, at the World Health Organization (WHO), Geneva. The unit works on contraception, fertility care and infertility research, norms, standards, and technical assistance. He has over 25 years of experience in research, teaching, health services management, and leadership. His interests are in health systems, implementation research, and translation of evidence to practice. His research focus surrounds implementation research on contraception and fertility care.
	PROF. MOSES OBIMBO MADADI	ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Brief Description He was a Lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology - University of Nairobi. He is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Human Anatomy & Physiology at The University of Nairobi. A clinician-scientist with a variety of skills and competencies in the field of reproductive medicine and sciences and a specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist at The University of Nairobi.
	DR. JOHN ODERO ONG'ECH	HONORARY LECTURER Brief Description He was The Chief Medical Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Deputy Director of surgical services at Kenyatta National Hospital. He is a Researcher, Consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, and Honorary Lecturer at The University of Nairobi, appointed Safaricom company's medical health advisor and sits on Safaricom's medical board.
	DR. KHISA WESTON WAKASIAKA	HONORARY LECTURER Brief Description He is a renowned Obstetric Fistula Surgeon and was Senior Obstetrician/Gynaecologist at Kenyatta National Hospital. He is a Consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, and an Honorary Lecturer at The University of Nairobi.

FRANCIS XAVIER OTIENO ODAWA	HONORARY LECTURER Brief Description He was a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology - University of Nairobi and went on to serve Kenyans in other capacities. He is a Consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and an Honorary Lecturer at The University of Nairobi.

	THE LATE PROF. JOSEPH GATHERU KARANJA	ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Brief Description The late Professor Joseph Karanja made notable contributions to maternal healthcare services in our country, Kenya. He was born in 1949 and is listed as an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nairobi. He served as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist for 39 years and completed his Masters in 1983, seven years after obtaining a medical degree from the University of Nairobi.
	THE LATE PROF. JAMES BILL OYIEKE	ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Brief Description The late Professor James Bill Oyieke was born in 1947 and is listed as an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nairobi. He served as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and completed his Master's in 1979. Has published many academic papers and conducted a lot of research in Obstetrics and Gynaecology field.
	PROF. GUYO WAQO JALDESA	ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Brief Description Prof. Guyo Waqo Jaldesa is currently the newly elected Member of Parliament of Moyale Constituency. Prof. Guyo joined UoN for his undergraduate studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine degree. He also undertook his Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at UoN from 1993 to 1997. He has published many academic papers and conducted a lot of research in Obstetrics and Gynaecology field. He is known for his strong stand against Female Genital Mutilation practice which is very prevalent in the community where he comes from - Borana.
