Wellness forum September edition: Personal branding with Dr. Amakove Wala

The guest speaker for this month's wellness forum was Dr. Amakove Wala - A conversationalist, entrepreneur and health systems strengthening expert.

Dr. Elizabeth Amakove Wala is a career achiever, a single mother of four, chairperson, scientist and a medical doctor.

She was Regional Manager Medical Services and Outreach Programme at AMREF in 2016, the former CEO Kenya Medical Association, a rabbit breeder, runs an association for families who have multiples (twins, triplets or quadruples) with over 700 families, she runs a nanny bureau (with her nanny), she cycles, she writes, and she does mentorship and speaking engagements. She was a Top 40 Under 40, 2016 finalist.

The forum was organized and coordinated by Dr. Diana Ondieki (Lecturer), assisted by Dr. Mitchelle Nthenya (Postgraduate - Mmed Obstetrics and Gynaecology student - The University of Nairobi) and Senior ICT Officer - Mr. Humphrey Misigo (The University of Nairobi - FHS) for organizing zoom meeting link and recording.
