Dear all,
To mark this year’s International Women’s Day, the WEE Hub in partnership with the Faculty of Law of the University of Nairobi has planned to host an International Women’s Day (IWD) event to honour and celebrate women in leadership.
The event aims to:
i) Honour and celebrate women who have broken the barriers to make it into spaces of leadership that have been male dominated.
ii) Create a space where the trailblazers can hand over the baton to younger women and encourage them to get into spaces of leadership.
In this regard, Ms. Faith Odhiambo who was recently elected as President of the Law Society of Kenya, and who is second woman to hold this position will be the Chief Guest. We therefore invite you to join us at this event scheduled to take place tomorrow 14th March 2024 at the University of Nairobi Taifa Hall from 2.00pm to 5.00pm.
