Following the lifting of theย 10-year ban on importation of GMOsย and divided opinionย on theย move to lift the ban,ย KeAWARD - the Kenyan chapter of African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD), a professional organization of agricultural scientistsย with support from AWARD members at the University of Nairobi has organized the followingย Webinar as part of the efforts to educate and create awareness about GMOs.
The Webinar topic isย Pathways to Food and Nutrition Security in Kenya: The Role of Genetically Modified Organisms.ย Leading experts in biotechnology, policymakers, farmers and other stakeholders have been invited to the discussion.
