H.E. The President launched the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign on December 21, 2022.ย ย The Campaign targeted the planting of at least 15 billion trees by the year 2032.ย ย In this regard, the University of Nairobi has committed to participating in this important exercise by planting trees in the respective campuses.

To support the campaign, the University has organized a tree planting exercise scheduled to take place onย Friday, April 11, 2025 at Upper Kabete Campus, field station.
