Prof. E.J. Cheserem takes over as new chair

Prof. Eunice Jeptoo Cheserem is the new Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, taking over from Prof. Omondi Ogutu.

Prof. Cheserem is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Nairobi and a Specialist Obstetrician Gynaecologist, Kenyatta National Hospital Nairobi.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Postgraduate Diploma in Biomedical Research Methodology, Postgraduate Diploma in International Maternal Health Care and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree.

Prof. Cheserem has more than 20 years teaching experience for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students and has supervised over 20 Postgraduate MMED students to completion.
