The Department of Literature has organized an international multi-sectoral public event to memorialize the life of Prof. Micere Githae Mugo who passed away, on 30th June 2023. Prof. Micere Githae Mugo is a former lecturer in the Department of Literature and a former Dean of the Faculty of Arts. The Department of Literature has organized the above event to memorialize her life and work as aย writer, academic and public intellectual. The details are as follows:
