Dear All,
Following the lifting of the 10-year ban on importation of GMOs and divided opinion on the move to lift the ban, KeAWARD - the Kenyan chapter of African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD), a professional organization of agricultural scientists with support from AWARD members at the University of Nairobi has organized the following Webinar as part of the efforts to educate and create awareness about GMOs.
The Webinar topic is Pathways to Food and Nutrition Security in Kenya: The Role of Genetically Modified Organisms. Leading experts in biotechnology, policymakers, farmers and other stakeholders have been invited to the discussion.
The Webinar is scheduled for 3rd November from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm (EAT).
