The Association of Medical Students of the University of Nairobi (AMSUN) will be holding the 13th edition of its scientific conference on the 25th and 26th of May 2023 at the Chandaria Centre for Performing arts. In keeping with their motto “Nurturing the profession”, the scientific conference aims to nurture young scientists and foster positive research culture among young scientists in the field of health. The conference theme is Exploring the Frontiers of Medicine through Diversified Research with sub-themes on: Medical Technology and Innovation, HIV, Tuberculosis and Hepatitis C, Non Communicable diseases, Research involving the vulnerable and Physical health & psychiatry and it is indisputably an excellent platform to learn about the latest research findings and advances in various fields, while providing an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of various topics in the respective fields.
The conference also provides an opportunity to meet with other medical professionals, researchers and students. In addition, presenting one's research findings and receiving feedback from peers and experts in the field will help young scientists refine their research skills and build their confidence in presenting their work.
