Dear All,
The Director, Library & Information Services has organized online training on Academic Integrity in Scholarly Writing on 8th September, 2023.
Academic integrity is the honest and responsible scholarship expected to be practiced in research activities. One of the basis on which Universities were established is to teach and conduct original research in adherence to practices of academic integrity.
The University of Nairobi produces massive academic output in the form of scholarly work through its students and researchers. To ensure scholarly excellence and adherence to ethical practices, all research output is subjected to academic integrity testing.
The objectives of the training will be to sensitize and enlighten students and researchers on the importance of adhering to Academic Integrity in Scholarly Writing, explain plagiarism, outline key components of the University of Nairobi plagiarism policy, and highlight the anti-similarity system used in the University of Nairobi to enhance academic integrity.
The following table provides the link to the training scheduled on 8th September, 2023. 10 am - 12 pm
