The University of Nairobi, Faculty of Health Sciences (Formerly College of Health Sciences) Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology extension was officially opened on 25th October 1995 by The Honorable Aurelia E. Brazeal -The United States Ambassador to Kenya. The extension was funded by The United States Agency for International Development.
