The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology successfully held its inaugural online postgraduate intake examination on the 28th July, 2020.
The examination consisted of a written multiple choice paper followed by an oral viva by a panel of examiners.
The online examination was conducted in line with the measures recommended for continuation of teaching and learning at the University of Nairobi while preventing the spread of corona virus disease (COVID -19) that led to the closure of academic institutions hence disrupting learning.
The Department Chair, Prof. Omondi Ogutu commended staff from the Department of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) and Open and Distance E-Learning (ODEL) Campus for their support that made the examination a great success.
Online teaching and learning at the Department continues to gain momentum as both staff and students continue to embrace this as the new normal in the wake of COVID-19.
