First African on World Endometriosis Society Board

Dr. Ezekiel Onyonka Mecha, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Nairobi's Department of Biochemistry, has achieved a significant milestone by being appointed to the board of the World Endometriosis Society. As the sole African representative and the first individual from the continent to hold this position, Dr. Mecha's two-year term on the Global Liaison Committee (2023-2025) is a testament to his expertise and commitment to advancing endometriosis awareness and research. 

XXIV FIGO World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics in Paris kicks off

XXIV FIGO World Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in Paris, France from 9th – 12th October 2023.

The FIGO World Congress is the largest global event in gynecology and obstetrics. More than 8,000 delegates have gathered at the state-of-the-art Paris Convention Centre to learn, share, build alliances, and shape the future of women’s and reproductive health. There are over 60 countries represented, over 500 expert speakers, and over 200 sessions.
